With eight swims available, only six fishermen are allowed at a time, ensuring a comfortable fishing environment.

Record Catches

The lake is renowned for its sizeable fish. In October 2020, Tom Jenner landed a remarkable 66lb catfish, surpassing the previous record of 63lb 12oz caught by Dave Honeysett in April 2019. Carp enthusiasts will appreciate specimens like Daniel Dowley's 38lb Mirror carp and Tom Marshall's 34lb 8oz Common carp, showcasing the quality of fishing available at Dove Lake.
