Rookley Country Park provides self-catering accommodation, offering a comfortable base for your fishing adventures. On-site, you'll find a bait and tackle shop stocked with frozen bait, pellets, prepared particles, and a range of carp tackle to suit your needs.
Fishing Lakes
The park features two fishing lakes, each with its own character. The Small Lake, less than three-quarters of an acre, is surrounded by lush greenery and hosts species such as Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench, and various Carp. It's an excellent spot for children and those new to fishing, where Roach and Perch can be easily caught using simple bait setups. The larger lake spans approximately 2 acres and is predominantly populated with Carp, including Mirror Carp from the Fishers Pond breed. Anglers here can target impressive specimens, with some Carp weighing up to 40lb.
