Turnford Complex - Railway Pit spans around five acres in Hertfordshire, primarily featuring a Carp lake. Over the years, an ongoing stocking programme has enhanced the fishing experience, with Carp reaching sizes of over 40lb and a reliable number of 20lb and 30lb specimens. The lake offers ample space with 19 purpose-built bivvy swims, providing comfortable areas along the bank for anglers to enjoy their time on the water.

Fish Species

While Carp are the main attraction, Railway Pit is home to a diverse range of species. Bream and Tench can grow up to 10lb, adding variety to your catch. Additionally, anglers can find plenty of Roach, Rudd, and Perch, along with some large Pike lurking in the depths. This variety ensures that there's always something interesting beneath the surface.
