Rib Valley Fishing Lakes offers a diverse angling experience in the heart of Hertfordshire. Comprising three still-water lakes—Rib Lake, Millennium Lake, and Westmill Lake—this fishery caters to both fly and coarse fishing enthusiasts. Situated near Ware and adjacent to the River Rib, the lakes are accessible year-round, ensuring ample opportunities for anglers of all ages.

Fish Species

Anglers can explore a variety of species across the lakes. Rib Lake and Westmill Lake are renowned for their Carp, including Mirror, Common, Crucian, and Ghost varieties. Additionally, you might find Bream, Chub, Perch, Pike, Roach, Rudd, Tench, and Gudgeon. Millennium Lake primarily hosts trout and is perfect for junior fishermen and novices, with the possibility of catching larger specimens as well.

Facilities

The fishery is equipped with disabled-friendly toilets, ensuring accessibility for all visitors. A well-stocked tackle shop is available on-site, along with a spacious car park for convenience. While fishing is primarily for pleasure angling, the facilities support a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
