The lake features a large open area on one side, perfect for casting wide, while narrow channels and numerous islands provide more secluded spots. You'll find lily pads and overhanging willows scattered throughout, creating a picturesque setting. Depths generally range between three and four feet, with a deeper hole near pegs 26 and 27 adding an extra challenge for those seeking it.

Ensuring everyone can enjoy Pixies Mere, there are four purpose-built fishing stations for disabled anglers. You can bring your car to the swims, and bumper stops are in place for wheelchairs. Additionally, the main car park features a large map of the lake to help you navigate the best spots. Toilets are conveniently located nearby, making your visit comfortable and hassle-free.
