The Pools
Pixley Pools Fishery features two separate pools, Pixley Pool and Glebe Pool, located approximately half a mile apart. Originally built as irrigation lakes for the surrounding fruit fields, these pools provide a tranquil setting for anglers looking to spend a day by the water.
Carp Stock
Both pools are home to Mirror and Common Carp. Pixley Pool boasts Common Carp ranging from 8 lb up to the mid-20s, alongside a solid population of mirror carp. Glebe Pool, which has been open since May 2012, houses Common Carp averaging about 5 lb, with some growing up to 10 lb. While Glebe Pool is newer to fishing, it continues to develop its carp population.
