Yateley in Hampshire boasts a deep, twenty-acre lake that has been developed into the Society’s premier pike water. This expansive water body is well-stocked with pike reaching over twenty pounds, providing rewarding sport for both experienced anglers and those new to the game.

Aquatic Life

The lake is home to impressive carp, with Mirror Carp up to 40lb and Common Carp in the mid-30lb range. Anglers may also encounter Tench weighing up to 12lb, Perch up to 4lb 8oz, as well as Chub, Roach, Gudgeon, and Dace in the River Blackwater. The presence of large shoals of rudd makes live baiting particularly effective, especially during the winter months.

Club memberships are offered for those looking to make Yateley their regular fishing spot.
