Key Information
Match Lake
Match Lake offers 47 pegs with a variety of fish including carp, roach, bream, skimmers, chub, and barbel. The lake maintains a consistent depth of 4-5 feet and features two easily accessible islands, perfect for those using pole or waggler methods. Please note that night fishing and floating baits are not permitted here. Matches take place on Wednesday evenings from May to August and on Sundays throughout the year, providing regular opportunities for competitive angling.
Specimen Lake
Spread over eleven acres, Specimen Lake caters to anglers seeking a deeper experience, ranging from 5 feet near the car park to 18 feet at the dam wall. The stony-silty bottom ensures a relatively snag-free environment, allowing for various fishing methods. This lake boasts carp up to 37lb, alongside bream, perch, and pike. Recently enhanced with new banking and an additional ten pegs, Specimen Lake also offers a freshwater tap near the car park for your convenience.
The Lodges
Our five lodges provide 40 pegs suitable for both match and leisure fishing. Each lodge environment ranges from 4 to 7 feet in depth and supports a healthy population of carp, tench, roach, bream, chub, and barbel. With disabled access and well-appointed cabins, the lodges ensure a comfortable stay for day-ticket anglers. Ample parking is available, and day ticket access allows for an affordable fishing experience.
