About Chorlton Water Park

Chorlton Water Park in Greater Manchester is more than just a fishing spot. Originally Barlow Hall Farm, the area transformed in the 1970s when gravel was excavated for the M60 motorway. Once the excavation ceased, the site naturally filled with water, creating the lake that now serves as the heart of the park.

Wildlife and Conservation

The park isn't just for anglers. It's a haven for wildlife, featuring dedicated conservation areas. Whether you're spotting birds or enjoying the greenery, the efforts here ensure a thriving environment for various species.

Fishing at Chorlton

For those interested in fishing, the lake hosts carp specimens, with some boasting weights up to 30 lb. The peaceful surroundings provide a great backdrop for a relaxing day by the water.
