Wick Mere provides convenient parking with four designated spaces for disabled anglers, ensuring easy access for everyone. Whether you're arriving by car or using other means, getting to the fishery is straightforward.

Fish

Covering approximately 6 acres with average depths of 10ft, Wick Mere is home to a variety of fish. Anglers can expect to encounter large carp, including eight over the 30lb mark and one impressive specimen exceeding 40lb. Predatory interests are catered to with pike reaching up to 25lb. Additionally, match fishermen will find rudd, bream, roach, tench, and trout up to 6lb available in the lake.

Club memberships are offered through the Chelmsford angling association, providing anglers with the opportunity to join a community of fishing enthusiasts at Wick Mere. Membership details can be obtained directly from the association.
