Stollies Lake LAA

Stollies Lake LAA, near Abridge in Essex, spans approximately 0.8 acres and includes two islands. This 200-year-old fishery offers twenty fishing pegs, maintained by the London Anglers Association who have enhanced the site by clearing aquatic vegetation and improving water quality. Club memberships are available for those interested in accessing the lake and its tranquil surroundings.

Parking

A car park is available adjacent to the fishery, arranged through a gentleman’s agreement with a neighbouring landowner. There is potential to relocate the car park within the fishery boundaries in the future, enhancing convenience for visitors.

Fish

The lake hosts various species, including common and mirror carp up to 28 lb, tench reaching 5 lb, chub and crucian carp up to 3 lb, and roach up to 1 lb. These stocks provide anglers with opportunities to enjoy a day out on the water.
