Shoeburyness Park

Key Information
Day Ticket Access
At Shoeburyness Park, anglers can enjoy fishing on both Priory Park Lake and Shoebury Park Lake with a day ticket. Adults can fish using two rods for £6.00, while juniors and concessionary licence holders are charged £2.50 per rod. During the summer months, a special evening ticket is available for adults after 6 pm at £3.00. Please note that night fishing is not permitted and the traditional close season is observed.
Club Memberships
The Parks Angling Club manages fishing activities at Shoeburyness Park as a non-profit organisation. Club memberships are offered to those interested in becoming active members of the community. Any surplus funds are reinvested into purchasing additional stock and making improvements to the lakesides or water quality. Decisions are made by an eight-person committee who consider suggestions from members and discussions from general meetings.
Fish Species
Anglers at Shoeburyness Park can target carp, with specimens weighing up to 4 lb present in both lakes. This provides a straightforward fishing experience for those looking to spend a day by the water in Southend-on-Sea.
