Seabrook reservoir

Overview

Seabrook Reservoir in Little Leighs offers anglers a well-established 3-acre water just outside Chelmsford. The reservoir hosts a variety of fish, including common and mirror carp, roach, rudd, perch, bream, crucians, and tench. Its relatively easy carp fishing, with large heads in the low double range, provides the chance to land fish over 20lb.

Fish Species

Seabrook Reservoir is home to bream, carp, perch up to 3lb 8oz, roach, rudd, and tench. Anglers often use meat, sweetcorn, pellet, and paste to entice smaller carp and larger roach and rudd. Surface fishing tends to be particularly successful, and casting over hemp in late autumn can result in bags of larger roach.
