The Setting

Oak Lodge Fishery spans approximately 2.4 acres in Essex, offering a picturesque lake with depths ranging from 3ft to 18ft. The lake features 10 large bivvy size swims, some of which are doubled, all beautifully shaped and woodchipped to provide comfort during your fishing sessions. Since opening in April 1995, Oak Lodge has welcomed members and day visitors alike, creating a welcoming community for anglers.

At Oak Lodge, club memberships are available for those who wish to enjoy regular fishing at the fishery. For those visiting occasionally, day ticket access provides the flexibility to experience the lake without a long-term commitment. Fish Highlights

Anglers at Oak Lodge can expect impressive catches, particularly with carp that reach up to 53lb. The fishery is home to approximately 40 different carp over 20lb, 15 over 30lb, and 3 exceeding 40lb. Catfish also feature prominently, with sizes ranging from 30lb to over 100lb, including the notable Hercules. These substantial specimens make Oak Lodge a noteworthy destination for those seeking sizeable catches.
