Three Ponds Holiday Park in East Sussex offers diverse fishing environments across its three main ponds. Oak Pond, spanning approximately one and a half acres and reaching depths of up to nine feet, welcomes both residents and day-ticket anglers. Kingfisher Pond, a half-acre body of water, is accessible to locals and visitors alike, featuring six pegs following its 2008 restoration. Heron Pond provides private fishing spots for residents, with additional access for other guests through two areas offering six pegs.

Fishing Opportunities

Anglers at Three Ponds Holiday Park can enjoy a variety of fish species. Oak Pond is home to crucian carp, pike, perch, roach, common carp, and tench, all thriving in a well-maintained natural environment. Kingfisher Pond features tench and crucian carp, introduced during the restoration project. Heron Pond is known for its larger carp, with specimens reaching up to 28 lb, providing a unique challenge compared to Oak Pond’s offerings. Additionally, perch can be caught up to four lb, and tench up to 11 lb.

The holiday park offers lodges and cabins for those wishing to stay on-site, providing convenient access to the fishing ponds. Day ticket access ensures that visitors can enjoy fishing without needing to be residents.
