Access

Hempstead Ponds is managed by the Southdown Angling Association and can be reached via Hempstead Lane, just off the A22. Approximately 550 yards from the A22 and near the entrance to Tilehurst Farm, you'll find a gate on the right side that leads into the fishery. A more challenging path runs beside the right-hand hedge, guiding you to a second gate. Remember to lock both gates for security.

Parking

Parking is available along the access track. It's recommended to park here to ensure easy entry to the ponds. Please adhere to any parking requests to help maintain a smooth experience for all visitors.

Fish Species

At Hempstead Ponds, anglers can target carp and tench. The fishery supplies these species, providing a rewarding experience for those looking to cast a line. Please note that only barbless hooks are permitted, and night fishing is not allowed.
