Lakeside Coarse Fishing Lake in the East Riding of Yorkshire spans approximately 6 acres and reaches a maximum depth of 12 feet. Created by Richard Smith in the late 1990s, the lake features an off-centre island and reed-fringed margins, offering a unique environment for anglers.
Before fishing, day tickets must be purchased from the Honesty Fishing Hut. With 45 pegs available, including several wider ones, anglers enjoy fair access as pegs cannot be pre-booked. Bailiffs and staff regularly patrol the lake and car park to assist visitors and address any concerns.
The lake hosts a variety of fish species. Carp can grow up to 30 lb, while perch and chub reach up to 4 lb each. Tench can attain sizes of up to 6 lb, and pike can grow as large as 10 lb. This diverse selection provides ample opportunities for anglers to test their skills.
