A notable specimen of 8lb 2oz has been reported in the past, and attaining a tench over 6lb is considered a significant achievement. Since 2008, the pond has been part of a stocking programme, introducing a variety of tench and carp to enhance the fishing experience.

The fishery has recently undergone significant improvements, including the renewal of all swims and the addition of an extra swim. A new footpath provides easy access around the venue, complemented by better road access and enhanced car parking. Facilities at Burshill Pond B include disabled access, toilets, and ample parking, ensuring a comfortable visit for all anglers. Additionally, the Association’s Brandesburton Ponds are safeguarded with otter fences, maintaining a safe environment for both wildlife and fish.
