Fish Species

Brandsburton No 2 Pond is home to a variety of fish, including carp that can reach up to 23 lb. Anglers can also expect to find perch, with some specimens weighing up to 3 lb 10 oz, as well as roach, pike, and eels. This diverse range offers plenty of opportunities for a rewarding catch.

Fishing Conditions

Spanning approximately two acres, No 2 Pond is a mature gravel pit that provides a solid head of sizeable roach and perch. Early in the year, roach fishing thrives, especially when using pole-fished maggots which can lead to some excellent sport. Additionally, the presence of pike and eels adds an extra layer of excitement for those casting their lines.

Facilities

The pond is well-equipped with disabled access and facilities, ensuring a comfortable visit for all anglers. Regular maintenance of paths and swims ensures that the fishing environment remains pleasant and accessible. All ponds managed by the Association are protected with otter fences, contributing to a safe and enjoyable fishing experience.
