About Tinney Waters
Tinney Waters is a family-run fishery set in a quiet, rural area close to the Devon and Cornwall border. For over 25 years, it has provided a peaceful spot for anglers to enjoy fishing in a secluded environment.
The Lakes
The fishery comprises three main lakes, each offering a unique fishing experience. The Top Lake is known for its numerous Carp 'doubles' and a robust stock of Tench, some reaching up to 8 lb. Anglers here can also find a good number of Rudd, Perch, and 'skimmer' Bream.
The Middle Lake hosts a variety of species, including some of the larger Carp and decent-sized Bream, making it a favourite among those looking to catch substantial fish. Meanwhile, the Bottom Lake is the most secluded, located furthest from the accommodation, and is ideal for those seeking a bit more solitude while pursuing large Carp.
Fish Species
Tinney Waters is home to a range of coarse fish. Carp enthusiasts will appreciate the common, mirror, and grass varieties available across the lakes. Tench, with specimens up to 8 lb, add to the diversity, alongside Rudd and Perch. Bream also feature prominently, providing ample opportunities for a rewarding day of fishing.
