Key Information
Welcome to Millhayes Lakes and Lodges
Reopened in June 2021 under new management, Millhayes Lakes and Lodges offers a refreshed angling experience in the heart of Devon. The ponds have been carefully dredged and restocked, and new swims have been installed to enhance your visit. Nestled in the quaint village of Kentisbeare, the fishery boasts two mature lakes continuously fed with spring water from the Blackdown Hills.
Exploring the Lakes
Willow, the larger of the two lakes, spans 2 acres and is home to 90 specimen Carp, some reaching up to an impressive 31 lb. This pond accommodates up to six anglers aged over 16, ensuring a peaceful fishing environment. James' Pool, though smaller at 0.3 acres, offers a variety of coarse fishing opportunities with Tench weighing up to 8 lb, Crucians at 2.5 lb, Bream up to 3 lb, and Golden Rudd. It’s a great spot for those looking to catch a decent chunk.
