Legge Farm provides a variety of facilities to ensure a comfortable visit. There is disabled access with appropriate amenities, making it accessible for all guests. Parking is available at the main lake, offering convenience for those who need it. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the fishery features a small, quiet campsite with fully serviced caravan pitches and grass spots for tents. On-site amenities include toilets, showers, a chemical disposal point, and washing up facilities.
If you prefer staying in a cosy setting, Legge Farm offers two newly renovated cottages within the grounds of the 18th-century farmhouse. Heron Cottage provides twin-bedded accommodation with a bathroom that includes a shower, while Kingfisher Cottage offers flexible sleeping arrangements with the option of a king-size bed and a fold-out bed. Both cottages come with fully equipped kitchens, digital TVs, and fenced patios with tables and chairs. Dogs are welcome but must remain off the furniture.
Anglers will find plenty to enjoy at Legge Farm’s five lakes, stocked with carp, roach, rudd, bream, tench, and perch. Set in 30 acres of tranquil countryside, the fishery also includes four acres of woodland walks. Day tickets are available from the farmhouse at £8.00 per person, allowing for two rods. There are also concessions and junior rates. Remember to adhere to the fishing conditions, such as using barbless hooks and landing nets, to maintain the well-being of the fishery.
