Llandegla Fishery
The changing waters of Llandegla Fishery offer a distinctive fly fishing experience. Spring-fed by the original Alyn Beck, the trout pools display colours from 'Gin clear' to 'Bovril brown,' shaped by the season's temperature and rainfall. During winter, fly fishing becomes particularly popular as anglers seek out Rainbow, Brown, Tiger, and Gold Trout, each weighing up to 15 lb. Natural Rudd also add to the diverse angling opportunities available.
Switching focus to coarse fishing, the fishery boasts two lakes spanning approximately 2 acres. Carp up to 15 lb can be pursued alongside species such as Tench, Barbel, Chub, and Crucian Carp. These waters provide a varied habitat, catering to different fishing styles and preferences.
