Disabled Access
The River Ellen is equipped with disabled access and facilities, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a day of fishing. Fishing takes place in the harbour, from the piers, and along the accessible promenade to the north. The best fishing is during the bigger spring tides, especially in the four hours leading up to high tide. At high water, fishing shifts away from the promenade itself.
