Crummock Water stretches over two and a half miles long and just over half a mile wide, making it the largest of the three interconnected lakes that form the River Cocker's catchment in Cumbria.

Fly anglers will find plenty of accessible banks to cast their lines. Just a word of caution: it's best to avoid the southern end near the inflow from Buttermere, unless you don't mind navigating through waist-deep swamps.
