The Lynher River Association

Established in 1989, the Lynher River Association unites riparian owners, lessees, anglers, and others committed to preserving and enhancing the River Lynher. This group collaborates to maintain the river’s health and support its diverse wildlife.

Fish Species

The acidic waters of the Lynher create a unique environment for a limited range of fish. Anglers can find brown trout, sea trout, and salmon thriving in these conditions. Each species adds to the river’s distinct fishing experience.

Environmental Stewardship

The association is dedicated to ongoing efforts to protect the river’s ecosystem. Through various projects and community initiatives, members work together to ensure the Lynher remains a vibrant habitat for both fish and other wildlife.
