Bentley Fishery - Carp Lake

The Environment

Bentley Pool lies quietly in a serene valley in Cheshire, covering approximately one acre. At the heart of the pool is a small island, adding a distinctive feature to the peaceful surroundings.

Fish Diversity

The fishery hosts a variety of species, including carp reaching up to 20lb+, tench up to 9lb, and bream up to 6lb. Anglers can also find chub, dace, roach, rudd, blue dace, trout, and crucian carp, providing a diverse fishing experience.

Pool Features

The pool is fed by a stream and created by a dam. Near the stream, the water remains just a few feet deep, while closer to the dam, it deepens to around 20 feet. This change in depth offers different fishing opportunities within the same venue.
