It’s advisable to wear wellington boots or waders in these areas to navigate the terrain comfortably.

The reservoir is home to a variety of fish, including shoals of quality roach and some good perch. Anglers might also encounter odd bream and tench during their visits. While trout were previously a focus, the current emphasis is on coarse fishing, providing a diverse catch for enthusiasts.

Parking and Membership

Access to Appleton Reservoir is exclusive to members, with no day tickets available. Club memberships are offered, ensuring a dedicated community of anglers. For those visiting, there is a club-owned locked car park located at one end of the reservoir, providing convenient and secure parking options.
