Garnffrwd Park
Garnffrwd Park boasts a beautifully planned 5-acre lake surrounded by picturesque wooded areas in Carmarthenshire. Established in 1983, the lake is fed daily with a quarter million gallons of natural spring water, creating a vibrant habitat rich in aquatic life. This setting provides an excellent environment for trout, supported by ample natural food sources like sedge, damsel, and mayfly hatches.
The lake is home to a variety of trout, including rainbow and blue trout of all sizes, some reaching impressive double figures. Additionally, anglers can find brown and tiger trout, each offering a spirited challenge. Many of the fish are raised on-site, ensuring they are well-conditioned and eager to be tested by visiting anglers.
Garnffrwd Park provides day ticket access, making it easy for anglers to enjoy a day out on the water without long-term commitments.
