The Lakes

The Royal Berkshire Fishery offers three distinct lakes for anglers to enjoy. Lake 1, the largest and closest to the car park, is home to carp, roach, rudd, chub, perch, and tench. Lake 2 features quality stocks of roach, rudd, tench, perch, and carp. Lake 3 provides a more secluded spot, surrounded by trees and shrubs, creating a peaceful fishing atmosphere reminiscent of rural river banks.

Amenities

Visitors benefit from easy access with ample car parking and disabled facilities. The fishery includes toilet facilities and the Rod & Reel Cafe, open from Tuesday to Sunday between 8am and 2pm, offering refreshments. Friendly staff and bailiffs are present to assist anglers, ensuring a comfortable visit.

Our History

Since its establishment in 1982, the Royal Berkshire Fishery has been a family-run business dedicated to maintaining the quality of its fish and the cleanliness of its lakes. The peaceful surroundings and well-maintained waters make it a popular choice for fishing enthusiasts in the south of England.
