Overview

Crayfish Farm is a small, secluded pool within Berkshire's renowned Horton complex. Recently, it has been gradually restoring, offering a peaceful retreat for carp fishing enthusiasts.

Fish Stock

The venue is home to around 30 carp, including Fishers Pond fish and the distinguished Sutton strain. The Suttons are hand-picked beauties, currently weighing between 19 and 20lb. Meanwhile, the Fishers Pond carp are reliable doubles, with some reaching an impressive 37lb.

Fishing Tips

Chasing the original residents can be rewarding but challenging, so consider spending a season or two here. Approach the margins cautiously and stay alert, as many fish are caught just feet from the water's edge.
