Trout Information

The lake is regularly stocked with energetic Rainbow and Brown Trout, primarily weighing around two pounds. Additionally, ten percent of the weekly stock includes larger specimens reaching up to eight pounds. These well-maintained fish provide a spirited challenge for those seeking quality catches.

Visitors to Barn Elms Fly Fishery can utilize the clean and accessible toilets available on-site. While there is no onsite shop or refreshment area, the large car park ensures easy access for all guests. The fishery operates from March to December, open Wednesday to Sunday from 9 am until dusk. Pre-booking is required to secure a fishing spot.
