About Wold Farm Fishing

Straddling the boundary between Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, Wold Farm Fisheries is enveloped by 70 acres of ancient woodland. This unique estate welcomes anglers all year round, offering match, specimen, and pleasure fishing through convenient day ticket access. The tranquil surroundings provide a perfect backdrop for a relaxing day by the water.

Our Lakes

Wold Farm boasts several distinct lakes, each catering to different fishing preferences. Wold Lake, a 2-acre Carp and Catfish pond, features two islands and is renowned for its impressive Carp over 30 pounds and Catfish exceeding 50 pounds. With only six swims available, it ensures a private fishing experience. Oaks Lake, another 2-acre waterway with a single island, offers 25 pegs and hosts a variety of species, often totaling catches beyond 300 pounds. Islands Lake, spanning approximately one acre, is adorned with six islands and twelve pegs, making it a picturesque spot for targeting Mirror Carp and Ghost Carp. Moat Lake, at 1.5 acres, includes three islands and is a favourite for anglers seeking Tench and other robust species.

Fishing Opportunities

In addition to lake fishing, the Great Ouse River Syndicate provides over a kilometer of river fishing between Pavenham and Milton Ernest. Here, anglers can pursue Barbel up to 18 pounds, alongside Chub, Pike, Perch, and Roach. Whether you're aiming for a hefty specimen or enjoying a leisurely session, Wold Farm Fisheries offers diverse opportunities to suit your fishing style.
