Stewartby Water Sports Club, established in 1972, offers anglers access to one of the largest lakes in the Herts, Beds & Bucks area. Sharing the waters with sailing, water-skiing and powerboat racing, the lake provides ample space for various activities.

Fish species

The lake is home to bream, carp, eel, perch, pike, roach, rudd, tench and zander. While carp and eels are present, they are caught only rarely by anglers.

Facilities

Visitors can take advantage of toilets and hot showers, ensuring a comfortable fishing experience. Secure parking is available and monitored by CCTV. The club also features a members' bar and galley for refreshments. Boat fishing is allowed for a small number of fishing boats; interested individuals are encouraged to contact the club for more information. Club memberships are offered.

Events

There are two matches held each year: the course match in September and the predator match in November. Stewartby Water Sports Club remains open all year round, with no closed seasons, giving anglers the flexibility to fish throughout the year.
