Fishing Pits

Radwell and Sharnbrook Complex boasts six gravel pits, varying in size from 1 to 26 acres. Each pit has its own character; Pit 1 is home to larger carp over 20lb, while Pit 2 offers bigger bream and carp up to 30lb. Pit 3, though weedy, provides excellent opportunities for tench and carp up to 25lb. For those seeking a challenge, Pit 4 is known for its hefty carp reaching up to 40lb. Smaller pits like 4A and Pit 6 cater to different preferences, with Pit 5 being the deepest at 10ft, ideal for anglers looking for something specific.

Fish Types

The complex is filled with a variety of fish species. Anglers can expect to catch carp up to 40lb, tench up to 14lb, and bream reaching 16lb. If you're after something different, perch are available up to 4lb, while pike can grow beyond 18lb. The river at Radwell and Sharnbrook is also inhabited by robust barbel up to 18lb and sizeable chub exceeding 7lb. Additionally, dace can be found up to 12oz, providing a diverse fishing experience.
