History

Since 1972, North House Lake has been a cherished spot for anglers in Bedfordshire. Although the owners refer to it as Brawns Farm Lake, the local fishing community has always known it by its longstanding name, North House Lake.

Lake Layout

This four-acre, triangular lake stretches from north to south, featuring robust marginal weed growth and numerous willows that divide the water into approximately 25 individual swims. With depths ranging from 1 to 3 metres, anglers have a variety of spots to choose from when casting their lines.

Fish Variety

North House Lake was once celebrated for its Crucian carp, but their numbers declined in the late 1980s following the unauthorised introduction of pike. Today, the lake is home to thriving populations of bream, carp, and tench, along with an increasing number of silver fish, providing diverse opportunities for fishing enthusiasts.
