Church Farm Fishery stretches along over 2,000 metres of the river, starting just below Bromham Bridge. The east bank offers anglers a prime spot from the first hedge after the bridge to the willows at the end of the field. Unfortunately, fishing from the opposite bank isn't available here.
The river flows south-south easterly, with the water speed varying along its length. The top end features fairly fast-moving waters, gradually settling into a medium pace downstream. This variation can provide different fishing experiences along the stretch.
Anglers visiting Church Farm Fishery can expect to catch a variety of species. Barbel reach up to 15 lb, while chub can grow over 7 lb. Pike are also present, with specimens up to 19 lb. Other species include dace, perch, roach, bream, tench, and the occasional carp up to 18 lb.
