Bream Hole
Bream Hole in North Yorkshire provides anglers with approximately three miles of fishing along the right bank, managed by the YDAA. The fishery is divided into three sections, each offering different depths and widths to accommodate various angling preferences.
Fish Present
The waters at Bream Hole are home to bream, perch, and roach. With a healthy population of roach and bream, anglers have good opportunities to catch these species throughout the season.
Fishing Techniques
Many find success using a ground bait feeder with worm and caster, particularly for roach. Alternatively, roach often prefer a maggot feeder. Pole fishing just over the marginal weed can also yield bags of roach and perch, especially near the popular hotspots like 'Pipe Hole' and 'Wires'.
Visiting Information
Night fishing is available by prior arrangement through the Waters secretary, allowing for evening sessions. Day tickets can be purchased from the usual outlets, making it easy to plan your visit and enjoy a day on the water.
