Milemead Fisheries offers five coarse waters, including Specimen Carp Lake, Carp N' Silvers Lake, and Cat N' Carp Lake. Specimen Carp Lake is a favourite for seasoned anglers, featuring carp up to 34 lb. Carp N' Silvers Lake hosts a variety of carp, along with Barbel, Bream, and Roach. At Cat N' Carp Lake, anglers can target both carp and catfish, with some catfish reaching over 21 lb. Additionally, two smaller waters provide opportunities for those seeking a more relaxed fishing experience.
Shop and Toilets
The bait and tackle shop opens at 9 am, stocked with a range of bait, tackle, and snacks to support your fishing day. Clean and accessible toilets are available for everyone's convenience.
Opening Hours
Anglers can visit Milemead Fisheries from 7 am until dusk, 363 days a year. The fishery remains closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. If you arrive before the shop opens at 9 am, you can start fishing and pick up your permit once the shop is ready. Interested in night fishing? It's available on Specimen Carp Lake and Cat N' Carp Lake, but you'll need to book in advance.
